Our team
Jennifer Fowler, DVM
Dr. Fowler aspired to become a veterinarian since she was 5 years old. She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri then studied at the University of Missouri - Columbia before graduating from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She practiced in Los Angeles, California for 5 years then bought and owned the Calabasas Animal Clinic for the next four years. At that point her family of four decided to relocate back to her husband’s hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Fowler and her husband have three wonderful children, Gus 14, Oscar 12, and Ruth 7. They have two dogs, Dingo and Waggy and a cat, Cookies. Dr. Fowler has had the pleasure of working for Millis Animal Hospital since 2017. She’s excited for the next chapter in opening a local veterinary clinic with her family.
Bee, Veterinary Assistant
Bee had a love of animals instilled in her from a young age, often going to the Saint Louis Zoo with her great aunts, and playing with their cats. At age ten, she convinced her parents to adopt two kittens, Fish and Frank (R.I.P.), who only made her love for animals grow. She is now the proud cat mom of Lollipop and Donny Osmond, and with six older siblings, she is a proud aunt to humans and animals alike. Bee has a certificate in Veterinary Assisting from The Academy of Pet Careers. This is her first job in this field and she’s very happy to be working with pets, with Dr. Fowler and her team. At night, Bee is usually either rehearsing for, or performing in, musicals with local theatre companies, oftentimes with her husband, Nathan.
Aimee, Veterinary Assistant
Aimee's love for animals began when she was just a little girl growing up in Fenton, Missouri. This passion only grew stronger as she attended Lindbergh High School and later the University of Missouri, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2012. After college, Aimee dove headfirst into her career, working on a hog farm near Bowling Green, Missouri. As a Farrower, she had the critical job of caring for gilts and sows as they gave birth and ensuring the health of both mothers and piglets until weaning. In 2018, Aimee returned to the St. Louis area and brought her skills to St. Louis County Animal Care and Control, where she worked as an Animal Caregiver until 2021. She then joined the team at Veterinary Group of Chesterfield as a Lead Kennel Technician, working in boarding and helping in the clinic. Aimee is excited to join the team at Kehrs Mill Veterinary Care. She's thrilled to be working alongside Dr. Fowler and cannot wait to meet you and your beloved pets. At home, Aimee shares her life with her husband, Will, and their furry family members, Dar the cat and Scarlett the dog.
Erin, Receptionist
Erin has always had a big heart for animals since she was a little girl. She grew up in Chesterfield Missouri and now lives in Ballwin Missouri. She loves being a dog mama to her Chocolate Lab named Kimber. She has collected pigs for as long as she can remember and it is a dream of hers to have a pet pig one day. She has past experience in veterinary and human medicine and is super excited to be at Kehrs Mill Veterinary Care and back to her true happy place, which is working with animals.
